To support excellence in the instrumental music tradition, The Columbia Community Band (CCB) offers a scholarship in honor of former CCB music director, Professor Keith E. House. Please help us grow the scholarship fund. Your generous donation will honor Keith and continue to help make this scholarship possible.
Professor House was a teacher and conductor who spent part of his professional career at the Swinney Conservatory at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri. He is remembered as an inspiring professional who shaped the careers of many top-notch musicians and public-school music directors.
Eligibility
A $1500 scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior band member who is planning to pursue a degree at a four-year college and participate in at least one band-related ensemble during the freshman year. Your major instrument must be a concert band instrument and you must be a resident of Boone or Howard Counties.
