Welcome to the The Columbia Community Band website, the virtual home of one of the Midwest's premier symphonic concert bands. Founded in 1981, the band offers membership to professional and non-professional musicians from all across the Mid-Missouri community - the waiting list has been growing. Performances include classical, contemporary, marches, and festive pieces for band in a wide variety of venues.
  | Do you know... about The Keith House Memorial Scholarship? Each year, a deserving Mid-Missouri high school student intending to continue participation in a band-related ensemble in college receives the Keith E. House Scholarship award. High School Seniors who play a band instrument in Boone or Howard Counties are eligible to apply. See your band director and/or guidance counselor for an application. |
